Adobe Illustrator
These projects were all made on Adobe Illustrator.
1) This was made for the Vormator project. I was limited to using certain shapes and keeping them in proportion. I enjoyed the challenge of using a few shapes to make a piece that was creative.
2) This project was also for the Vormator project; however, I did not keep the shapes in proportion. I used images from the internet and Adobe Illustrator to recreate the original images. What I like most about the work is the use of colors.
3) This was called the "My Hero" project. I chose to recreate Anne Frank, a Holocaust survivor, who left behind a descriptive diary. Because of her bravery, I chose to depict her. I think that the quotes on the sides are powerful and describe her character well.

Mixed Media: iPhone Photography and Photoshop
Linoleum Pop Art Prints
1) This project incorporated iPhone photography with photoshop. I took two pictures from my phone that I took and altered them on photoshop to make it black and white.
2) This incorporated #1 into a collage on canvas. We used a transfer technique to get our printed images on the canvas after we decorated with watercolor and tissue paper. I used the cord around the flower to send a message concerning our environment.
3) This is the original photograph that I carved from linoluem
4) This is the linoluem block that I carved after tracing the picture of myself onto it.
5) This is the end product of the linoleum project. Using black ink to spread it on the block, I stamped it on the paper. I used oil pastels to decorate and add color to the project. The repetition of the stamp reflects Pop Art.

Photoshop
1) This project was originally a famous piece of artwork, American Gothic, by Grant Wood. I had to change it using photoshop to create something comical.
2) This is a concert poster that a made using photoshop. It is a penny that I made to look 3-D. I learned how to change the coloring of an image during this project
3) This is also a concert poster. I incorporated pictures from online and I learned how to make a live trace on Adobe Illustrator.
